Hygiene Appointment Cancellation Policy

Effective February 1, 2027

At Getz Dental, we want to provide quality care while making appointment times available to patients who need them. To help us do that, we ask for your cooperation with our hygiene appointment cancellation policy.

Canceling or Rescheduling a Hygiene Appointment

Please provide at least 48 business hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a hygiene appointment. Advance notice gives us the opportunity to offer that time to another patient waiting for care.

Cancellation Fee

Beginning February 1, 2027, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged for a hygiene appointment canceled or rescheduled without at least 48 business hours' notice.

This policy helps us manage our schedule and avoid increasing our fees while continuing to provide the care we're proud of.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, we will send an appointment reminder at least one week before your scheduled hygiene appointment if we have a valid mobile phone number on file. We will also make every effort to send additional reminders.

However, reminders are a courtesy. Patients remain responsible for keeping track of scheduled appointments and providing the required notice when a change is needed.
