Read MoreI was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. I graduated from Southwest High School. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. I served on teaching staff at John Peter Smith Hospital and Southwestern Medical School for 23 years, teaching residents to provide patient care with implants and other restorative procedures for patients who experienced cancer or other trauma. Why do I love what I do? I love people. I enjoy improving people’s lives by maximizing their smiles. Watching the resulting changes in health and confidence still amazes me. I even had an 82-year-old patient who finally got the smile she always wanted! Her only regret- she wished she had done it sooner. I am a member of the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. I have been practicing dentistry for over 45 years and have been blessed with a Christ-centered practice, a competent and supportive staff, and tremendous patients. This is an exciting time in my career. I am married to my wife, Kristin, and we have two children: Eric and Dr. Lauren Getz. I spend my free time with family, playing tennis, boating, biking, and hiking.
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from All Saints’ Episcopal School. I graduated summa cum laude from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with honors. I then earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Texas A&M (formerly Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. When not at this office, I provide dental care at Disability Dental Services in Grand Prairie, TX. I strive to combine problem solving and detailed design to create healthy, functional, and beautiful smiles. I enjoy working alongside our patients to achieve their dental goals and ideal smiles. Why do I love what I do? I love serving our patients and our community. Dentistry has provided me the opportunity to pursue what I love while developing relationships with great people. I am a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors society, the Odontological Honors Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. I am committed to continuing my education and professional improvement through coursework and association involvement so that I may provide exceptional service and care to our patients. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, Dr. Ighani, and family as well as hiking, biking, reading, and being outdoors.
I have been a hygienist for 11 years and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I worked for Dr. Getz for 7 years before moving to Graham, TX. I'm happy to be rejoining the practice as my family and I are currently residing in Aledo, TX. I have the pleasure of working alongside my husband, Zach, at our church. I have 3 children: Arrow, Day, and Isla. We spend the majority of our time doing all things outdoors!
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, went to college to get my RDA, and have been in the dental field since 2011. My favorite part of my job is helping out my team to provide the best patient care for our patients. On my time off, I like to spend it with my husband, Omar, and our three kids, Aurora, Isabella, and Liam. We enjoy being outdoors, going to the zoo, and our favorite is taking our trips to Disney.
I have been a dental assistant for over 16 years. My husband and I moved to Texas from Portland, Oregon in 2008 with two children Eric and Anessa. We now have a third child Keith. Besides being a soccer mom, loving true crime, and traveling, I love dentistry and have a very diverse dental experience. Working with a board certified anesthesiologist (IV sedation dentistry) for more than fourteen years, I have assisted many different procedures such as implant prostheses, root canals, extraction, cosmetic crowns and more! After my dentist of many years retired, I feel blessed and honored to call Getz Dental home.
